How much does this cost?

You will need earbuds (or a headset); a good and stable internet connection (at least 3mbs download speed –
hotels can often have poor connections).

What is Terf?
Terf is a 3D environment that allows collaborative work on documents with a feeling of ‘co-presence’.
Permission to Photograph
We will take pictures during the event. If you sit outside a ‘no photo’ zone, or turn on your web cam you grant us permission to take photos and use them in a summary of our conference.
Is there more after the conference?
Yes! Our Distributed Agile Study Group meets several times a month – often in Sococo. You can also find us on Meetup.
Is this new?
No. We have been doing this since 2010. Educators have done it since 2007. Agilists have done it since 2015.
Can we meet in person too?
That’s great, but different. We call it ‘Hybrid’, and want to have this event solely using immersive approaches – ie., not face to face, and not just slides. Other conferences do a great job with those other formats.
Is there a Twitter hashtag for this conference?
Yes, we do. Use #dawscon19a.
What language will the conference sessions be in?
All sessions of the conference will be held in English.
Will this event be accessible?
This conference will not be accessible in all aspects. It will require hearing and ability to use the computer.
We ask our speakers to consider multiple types of color blindness in their presentations, however.
